A slight yawn escaped the females jaws and she giggled softly as he licked her nose before bounding off to find her a meal. It was very generous of him to offer to catch her something. And as she thought of the meal he would bring back she felt her stomach begin to growl with the hunger she didn't realize she had until now. Her light blue eyes followed his form as he headed up a hill before he disappeared on the other side. When he was out of sight, she rose to her paws and stretched her front legs out in front of her, her hind end sticking up in the air as she did so, stretching her spine as well. Next she stretched her hind legs out behind her, one at a time to bring them back to life after laying down for so long.
A few moments passed and she wondered if he was going to return soon. Her light blue eyes scanned the top of the hill that he had disappeared over in search of his familiar shape but he did not yet return. A soft sigh escaped the she wolf and she let her hind end sink back to the ground as she sat, tilting her head a bit as she continued to look out over the hills for him.

You can judge all the world on the sparkle that you think it lacks [atrb=style,border-top: 2px solid #333333; border-bottom: 2px solid #9622CC3; border-left: 3px solid #b1b198; border-right: 3px solid #b1b198;][bg=070404][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,420,true][atrb=width,20%][atrb=vAlign,top]
Invigorating, the thrill of the hunt always invigorated his sense- heightening them to a level far above what they normally were. It felt as if he could hear an ant crawling across a blade of grass- a fish breaking the surface, furious his meal was faster than he; the heartbeat of his prey. Eyes were focused only on the animal before him, the animal that was going to fall victim to the game of life and death. A game that had been passed day for as long as time could tell. He could smell the amusement the creature received- nibbling on a blade of grass here and there, and when he made his presence known, he could smell the fear radiating from it's very soul.
Taboo closed his jaws around the rabbit, canine sinking deep into soft fur- piercing warm flesh. A rush of blood hit the back of his throat- urging him on, more; he needed more. The smell almost sent him reeling, he wanted to devour the beast- no, it is for M'Lady. The beautiful Luna.... He shook his head- blood spitting forth onto the ground at his feet- the stench was overwhelming.
The rabbit twitched once and lain still- it's death was quick, maybe not painless but hopefully it had not suffered long. He, for one, did not want to be caught up captive in a wolf's jaws- writhing and screaming until they decided they wanted to end his life. Taboo shivered- violet eyes closing, as he turned to make his way back up the hillside.
Paws falling on soft grass, leaving large pawprints- each blade of grass sparkling with dew. He loved dew, especially in the morning- the way it felt beneath his feet, the way it made everything look magical. Magical- this place felt magical, everything about it.
Even Luna herself....
He crested the hill, eyes falling on the lady he had left waiting- she seemed to be standing. Was she going to leave? The male's heart felt like it had just bottomed out in his chest. He hadn't been gone that long, had he? The moon had not even moved in the sky- unless this was another magic.
He neared the white angel- eyes invisioning her among the clouds, she was beautiful enough to belong there. Haunches planted firmly on the ground, head dipping as he lowered the carcass to her feet; resting the things head on her front paws. He bent at the neck and nuzzled the kill, eyes avoiding hers as he spoke- words soft and distant.
"For you my Lady, a rabbit's blood freshly spilled."

Luna could smell the freshly spilled blood even before her light blue eyes caught sight of Taboo cresting the top of the hill and coming towards her once more. As he came closer she felt her tail wag a bit, glad to see him again and she took a couple steps towards him before watching as he dropped the prey at her paws and nudged it towards her before speaking softly. Red blood was splattered on his muzzle and she smiled at him before stretching her muzzle out to him to give him a friendly nuzzle. A smile remained on her face as she turned her attention to the fresh kill.
"Thank you Taboo, you are very kind. But please, have some as well. You worked for it and I will not let you go hungry." she replied, as she reached down and wrapped her jaws around the rabbit's mid section before gnawing it in half easily with her dagger like teeth. Letting both halves drop back to the ground, she nudged the other half back towards him with her nose before licking her lips and beginning to eat her half. It didn't take long for her to finish the prey and her stomach was full and content.
Licking her lips once more to get as much of the red blood off of her white muzzle, she sat down in front of him, her light blue eyes watching him for a moment with a smile still on her face.

He was taken back- generosity, Luna was just full of surprises now. Many people had said that the first and highest law must be the love of man to man. Homo homini Deus est - it being the supreme practical maxim, the turning point of the world's History...the world. It was amazing how much someone sheltered themselves from the outside world, wasn't it?
"My Dearest Luna, are you planning on joining a pack?" Taboo tilted his head- violet eyes smiling, head shaking as he politely declined her invitation to eat; he wasn't so hungry anymore. Maybe when he returned to his sleeping spot beneath a nearby tree would be feel that nagging ache in his stomach, he was always forgetting he should eat.
He hoped she would consider joining Martyr (not knowing anything about any of the other packs nearby). This would give them a chance to get to see each other more, no? He had been wanting a friend- and now that one was miraculously bestowed upon him- there was no way he was letting her get away that easy.
The male lowered himself to the ground once more, pressing his nose against the warm carcass before them- mouth salivating, catching himself before he drooled on the ground. How ungentlemanly; drooling in front of a lady! He must have lost his mind. Surely something like that would turn her away from him in the end.
"..and if you pardon me, I am terribly curious. Your...gift, can you hide in the forrest? I am sure, you can't mask your scent but would it make it harder for others to find you? I mean, if someone were looking for you?" He had already stored the smell of her away for future reference- already stored away the beauty she was; glossy fur and crystaline eyes. Eyes that felt like they looked through his very soul- because surely they did?

A confused look crossed her face as she thought about that.
"To be honest, I have never met a pack, let alone one that would want me to join. But a pack might be nice to have." she answered, her mind traveling back over her previous travels. Sure she had met single wolves from packs but she had never run into an actual pack of wolves before. She tried to avoid their territories in case they were vicious and mean like the one that had killed her parents. Ever since she was a pup and escaped the horrible fate the rest of her pack members had to face, she had always been cautious of packs. When he questioned her about her powers she went back once again to her memories, thinking if she had ever used her powers to hide. A couple of instances came up when she had and turning back to him she nodded.
"Yes I can change my coat color to any mixture of colors I wish. Though the more colors and the more complex it is, the more strength it takes from me and the longer it takes me to recover again." she answered, remembering when she had hid from a menacing wolf in the forest and had blended in with the trees and the rocks she was hiding in. The multiple colors had drained her strength and she had slept for a long while after that to feel back to her old self again. She was curious as to why he was asking her thses things but decided not to question it. If he wanted to tell her then he would.

Male clicked his teeth- thinking. She hadn't been in a pack since her parents had died, it was probably a sore subject- but what if he could get her to join Martyr? Or one of the neighboring packs? It would allow her to meet more people, be happier with her life- not that she wasn't already. She could hopefully have something to call home again. Like himself.
"Well, what about Martyr? It is the pack I am in- the Alphess is overly kind and generous. I know, it will never replace the one which you grew up in- but maybe it will help you feel a little more comfortable? You won't have to wander from place to place- worrying about entering somebodies lands without permission...We are not true family- well some of us, myself included, but it is not flesh and blood but the heart which makes us fathers and sons- mothers and daughters."
Purple eyes were aglow- anticipation? Probably. His heart thumped slightly faster, if she joined Martyr, he could spend a lot more time with her! Of course- it didn't cross his mind that he might come off as a little bit of a stalker in the end.
Ears pinned back on his skull- fluffy tail soon replaced with his normal banner; it felt nice to be whole again. The slur acquired of his buckteeth was gone, and now he spoke in his usual punctual manner. Tongue slipped from between firm lips to moisten the fur below his nose, a sneeze racking his features.
"I can take you to the Alphess- if that is what you would wish? Her name is Nalia- she is a beast of the shadows...well she is as dark as they are."

Maybe a pack would be nice to have. After all, she hadn't had a pack in a very long time. And perhaps this pack would be like her old one, a family, close knit. She could definitely use some more friends and it would be nice to not have to worry all the time about whether you were safe or not. Her smile began to grow across her features as all of the pros came into her mind and she rose to her paws once more, her tail raised with happiness.
"That sounds wonderful! I would love to meet the alphess of your pack, Martyr was it? It would be nice to have friends that will always be there and to have a 'family' again. Or something close to one at least. Plus not having to worry about my safety all the time would also be a new experience." she replied, her light blue eyes sparkling with anticipation.
She was a bit surprised at how excited she was to meet this alphess and possibly join a pack. Was it because then she would get to see Taboo everyday? Or was it just that she was tired of being alone all the time? She couldn't say but she was excited all the same.

His ears wiggled- did she just agree to allowing him to take her to Nalia?
Taboo yipped joyfully and jumped onto four legs from a laying down position. This was wonderful, a new friend to join their ranks- wouldn't Nalia be proud of him, bringing in a new recruit; and a Lady at that, it seemed males outnumbered females two to one in this pack. Surely, she would see him as valuable- sure he was a protector but if he could encourage more to join....no one could say no to sap like him, correct?
The brute tilted his head- tongue flapping from the side of his mouth; sides rising and falling with quickened breaths. He must take her to Nalia before the sun rises! Of course she would want to meet another respectable woman? He knew he couldn't wait to see how they would react to each other. His words came out excited and high-pitched, he would let her finish her rabbit before he would happily lead her off- jumping in circles around her, prancing like a love-struck teenager.
"Well then M'Lady! We must not waste a moment! Let us gobble up this delicious rabbit, and make our way to dearest Nalia's place of sanctuary. It is a dark chasm in the Earth- but it is where the pack of Martyr makes their den. Nothing to be afraid of, not afraid of the dark I hope?" This was a logical question, he knew many people that had been afraid of the dark.

She could tell that he was excited to introduce them and she found that his extremely uplifting attitude only heightened her own excitement. A smile was on her face as she finished the rabbit quickly before giving her white coat a quick wash to get the blood out of her fur.
When she was all clean and ready to go, she too jumped to all four paws and wagged her tail happily as she waited for him to take the lead. His question made her laugh a bit again. What wolf would be afraid of darkness itself? But then she realized that there were probably a few out there that had bad experienced and could have such a fear which made her glad she did not. Being afraid of the dark would be quite a burden for a wolf.
"Scared of the dark? Me? No way." she answered with a smile. She definitely wasn't afraid of the dark. It was the things that were in the dark that could be a bit frightening only because you never knew what they were. But Luna had wonderful night vision and would be perfectly fine living in a dark den.
