It had been a little while since he had met Fiametta and she had told him that he could be on her pack's lands as long as he didn't betray her, which was the last thing on his mind. His large orange tinted paws padded through the snow leaving tracks behind him but he didn't mind. The wind was trying to blow him off the side of the cliff right now and things seemed pretty peaceful so he wasn't going to complain about the chill of the snow.
It was actually refreshing after being down in the sunny forests that lay below the mountains. He imagined that Fiametta's pack was use to the cold of the winds and snow up here since they thrived up here. He wasn't sure if he would like to live in the snow all of the time but he hadn't been here very long either so he couldn't make a very educated decision based on being in the mountains for less than a day. His light blue eyes scanned the mountain side as he continued upward.
Finally he got tired of trudging through the frozen snow and closed his eyes for a moment before feeling the familiar shifting his body did to change into a large golden hawk. He shook out his feathers before flapping his huge wings, sending him high into the air. Now that was better. The breeze swept through his feathers as he flew, his light blue eyes finally catching sight of something that looked like wolf tracks in the snow. Tilting his head a bit he lowered towards the ground before landing next to the fresh tracks and shifting back into his wolf form once more. Lifting his nose to the breeze, he scented the air, wondering if these tracks were from Fiametta or her pack members or a different wolf completely. They shared the similar scent that she had when he had met her so he guessed it was her or her pack mates.
For a moment he debated on whether he should leave since he wasn't sure if she had told her pack about him being allowed there yet or not and he definitely didn't want to start a fight with her pack mates but if they attacked him should he defend himself? He wasn't sure. Finally he decided to turn back and as he spun around to head back the way he had come, his ears caught the sound of something approaching. Too late now. Turning back around to face the source of the sound, he kept his posture relaxed and calm, his light blue eyes gazing out across the white terrain in search of what was approaching.

OOC: For anyone who joins this thread, technically this thread is meant only for Canopus Pack members. YOu can join if you want, but I would prefer to keep it within the pack because that's technically what this thread is supposed to be about. Fiametta opened her blue eyes and lifted her head from the warm side of her mate, Reiko. She gaped her jaws in a large yawn and snapped them shut, turning her head to face the entrance. It was obvious the morning had come, for light was drifting through the opening, dancing on the den floor. She looked at her mate, leaned over, and gave his sleeping face a light lick. She smiled, then stood up to stretch out her limbs. It felt nice, even more refreshing when she left the warm den into the cold snow.
"Time for a hunt." She told herself, taking in the beauty of the day in her camp for a moment. When that moment ended, Fiametta kicked off the ground and bolted onto her lands, scattering snow as she went. She soon left the forested part of her territory and entered the open areas of the valley her pack was homed in. Her running slowed to an easy walk, leaving footprints behind her in the snow. She held her nose to the ground, searching for a scent. She soon caught the smell of a hawk. Well, it was better than nothing. She took off again.
Fiametta's nose felt the scent slowly dropping away, then completely vanishing. It was as if the smell had turned around. She flattened her ears once coming to a complete stop, contemplating on how she even lost the scent. It wasn't long before she heard a thud somewhere behind her. Her head whipped around and her ears pricked up, a small growl slipping onto her features. She loped easily in the direction of the sound at first, but only to be wary. She approached the stranger's orange form quietly, then immediately noticed something.
His thoughts were familiar.
Fiametta blinked a few times before catching his scent and approaching rather loudly as she spoke, calling out to him, "Bristol, is that you?"
