That's all he knew how to do, revenge and blood that's what keeps him going. Ketten stared through his tainted yellow eyes shot with blood and death. The lowest in the pack, that's what it had come to for him. Most made it there by being too sick and old to defend himself. Ketten had gotten there on the terms that he had tried to kill the alpha many times, though he did it in a very sneaky way so that only the alpha saw what he was planning. So in an attempt to stay in the shadows and be un noticed while he plotted, he openly tried to take the alpha female and got demoted to omega. Not a great position for most, but an advantage for him. Others kept their distance and looked the other way.
Kitten stared at the scraps of food below him, everyones leftovers, it sickened him. "when will this age of demented little wolves end, it's time a real leader takes over!" he growled at the bones in front of him then kicked them aside. He needed to kill, the familiar itch that over took him, he needed the terror of others to keep him stable. He thought about another murder attempt, found himself actually about to go do it. Then he stopped himself "I will have my salvation, just not yet, a little longer" he mumbled and sat down, staring at the ground.

"A real leader, hmmm? And who might that be?"
The words were cool, detached, but had a certain edge to them. Nalia was not one for anger. No, she always viewed it as a useless emotion. It only caused pain, and festered inside of one until it overflowed. The hatred rolling off of the male made her feel sick inside, and yet, her blue eyes were calm. That infuriating calmness about her, the calmness that got her through life, never wavered as she approached the lowly omega. For all intents and purposes, she looked perfectly calm, as if nothing in the world bothered her. Amorin probably would've noticed how her eyes flashed in the light, how despite her relaxed tone, she was on edge. Nalia was very good at hiding her emotions. It came from feeling every else's emotion, a force of habit that she had carried around since she was a pup. The beautiful female snorted slightly as she approached Ketten, halting a tail length away from him.
Nalia, to be honest, hated him. For one thing, he was a traitor. Amorin hadn't driven him away from the camp for what he had done, even though he had plotted to kill him. She respected the Alpha greatly, but she didn't agree with him. But what angered her was that he tried to take her - forcibly. No one did anything to Nalia without her consent - or bad things happened. Except Kettern hadn't seem to understand that. He had failed, as was obvious, but the damage was done. Nalia would never trust him, despite the fact that he was still in the pack. Indeed, she kept a careful eye on the wolf, never letting him stray too far. Most ignored or looked away. But the most dangerous of enemies was the one hiding in plain sight. The black wolf looked down at Kettern, tail flicking slightly.
"You would be wise to keep those words to yourself, omega." she said quietly, softly. Deadly, even.

He hummed and hawed over his work, fixing details "no, If I put this here his paw will get stuck under this root giving me enough time to slip this over his head making his jugular accessible for a minute.." he mumbled while he drew in the dirt. He smelt her before he saw her. Ketten quickly moved and sat on his plans and stared at Nalia.
"Nalia, what a pleasure" he liked his muzzle and spat out her name like it was venom on his tongue. He stared at the black wolf her calmness unsettled him and her dominant behavior was a challenge to him. " don't I get free speech Nalia? I say what I want, no one expects me, lonely old omega. Everyone looks the other way." he chuckled at her.

Her brows drew together in a frown as she watched Ketten. He was plotting something, she was absolutely sure of it. Ketten was always plotting something. Nalia trusted him about as far as she could toss him, and that wasn't very far. Nalia had made a vow many seasons ago not to hate anyone, since hate only exacerbated any problem they had, but Ketten... well, he tried her patience. He was a brute, a snake, ready to sneak up and kill at any chance. For the life of her, she couldn't figure out why the alpha had let him stay. True, he was a lowly omega. True, he seemed harmless enough from the outside. But the venom her empathy was picking up unsettled her, and Nalia always trusted her instincts. They were usually right. This wolf was bad news.
Nalia seated herself sedately, tail curling around her paws neatly. The way he spat her name made her want to tackle him and show him just who was boss. Nalia was Alphess, the dominate female of the Martyr pack, and she had a right to do so. But she didn't. No, this femme had control. Nalia snorted again. "Of course you do, Ketten. And not everyone looks away. I have my eye on you." Her words were calm, almost friendly. There was a pause, then she asked, "Why did you try and take me? Just wondering." It was something that she had been bothered by for the longest time...

He wouldn't fight to the death for the pack, hunt for the pack, or even take care of pups, not like anyone would want him nearby anyway. Ketten always had this look of hate and emptiness on his face. He just plain didn't care about anything but himself.
Ketten stared at Nalia and studied her, it didn't matter how much she "stayed calm" he could see the heat radiating off of her, it amused him. "Oh, Nalia, Nalia, Nalia," he said shaking his head "It's ok if you suspect something, because no one else does" he said in a very sneaky way. Whenever he said the alphess' name he said it with venom. He chuckled at her pondering question, "Dear Nalia," he stood up and circled around her flicking his tail over her muzzle and down her back seductively, "If I get demoted for, oh I don't know, trying to take the alphess, to omega, everyone looks the other way, no one cares what I do. And don't worry about me telling you this, because you'll take it to your grave." He moved close and said in her ear "I'll make sure of it" he snarled then licked her muzzle and put a leg over her, a part show of dominance.
