Migrating coconuts, he had been thinking of them since they left that beautiful place beneath the stars. Taboo jumping around Luna in excited circles- pulling at her tail and ears as he led her towards the Martyr dens. Dens that were located down a dark Chasm- the very Chasm Taboo had fallen down when he first stumbled upon these lands. The very chasm where the first wolves of this land found out his secret and were able to tell him what he was, before he even knew.
He remembered laying on the Chasm floor- alone and scared, staring at sharp canines from two wolves that loomed above him; Nalia the Alphess, and Nifth the Omega- neither of them had ment any harm but to an animal of prey, they had been death and sin itself. Now- he knew better, he saw them as packmates, friends, and family- something he hoped Luna would too find them to be.
Do coconuts migrate? He had never seen a coconut- only heard of them, were they an animal? They had to have been if he kept thinking of them as birds- a type of bird, that was what they were! From what he had heard they did not taste very good to wolves, but to other animals they were very juicy with a hard head. Taboo looked back at Luna, trailing ahead of her by a few feet; a light twinkle in his eyes.
"The dens are just ahead M'Lady. Surely lady Nalia is to be home- I have not met her mate yet, the Alpha- but I have heard he is as kind as she. I am sure, beyond a doubt, you will love it here. We will welcome you with open hearts!" His voice was giddy, he was so excited- excited about bringing in a new recruit and about Luna being close from then on.
The prospect was intriguing.
The male, caught up in his own blubbering mind, tripped over a small pebble- that sent him sprawling down the side of the chasm. The ledge they walked on was peril- though they had come a good ways down it thus far. A single leap and one could reach the bottom unharm- maybe a twisted ankle. Taboo cheeks caught on fire, eyes filling with worry; oh no! Lady Luna had just seen him make a fool of himself- hopefully she wouldn't point it out. He was as clumsy as a rabbit, who would have ever known!
"Right this way M'Lady..."

It was dark but interesting to her and she couldn't help but moving a bit faster so they could get there sooner. Her pure white paws carried her down into the chasm and her light blue eyes gazed around her. Her black nose was raised to try and catch the scents of other wolves while her ears moved on top of her head, pricked, as she searched for sounds of movement below.
As they entered the chasm, Luna's eyes glanced over at Taboo when she saw him sudden trip and fall. Worry crossed her face and she went to his side but he recovered quickly and easily without a scratch and a relieved smile crossed her face as she continued to follow him the rest of the way into the chasm. He was a foot or two ahead of her and her light blue eyes adjusted to the dim light quickly so she could see everything around her now. Excitement pulsed through her veins and she found that she was also a bit nervous about being new here. Picking up her pace, she came up to walk beside Taboo, her ivory fur brushing his side made her feel a bit more comforted, knowing that he was there. Her blue orbs glanced around her as she searched the dimness to see if there were any wolves coming towards them.

“Now, Nalia,” her mother's voice, stern and unyielding, commanded her attention, if not respect. “Remember. Everyone is out to get you. You cannot trust anyone, cannot depend on anyone else, and cannot believe in anyone else for what you want. They will ultimately betray you, and leave you wounded and unable to do anything.” Alios had a strange intensity in her voice that pup Nalia felt unnerved by. She watched her mother speak somberly, ears pricked up, knowing that she shouldn't speak and not being able to hold her question back.
“But, mother, does that mean I can't even trust you?” she asked. Alios' face went stiff, and Nalia knew that she had said something wrong. Nalia was not suppose to ask questions – ever. Nalia cringed away from her mother as she came closer and easily boxed her ears, sending her rolling in the dirt. Her head ringing, she barely heard her mother's words. “No one, Nalia. Not even me...”
Nalia woke up with a start, for a moment, not moving. Her blue eyes took in her surroundings, not knowing where she was. Her mother's words echoed in her head and she shook her head to clear them. She harumphed slightly to herself, pushing herself into a sitting position. She hadn't had that dream in a long while, and she was unhappy about it now. She disliked thinking and brooding on her past, and it really didn't put her in a good mood. The Alphess sighed, moving from her den to the open space, blinking her eyes against the light.
A voice, then two scents, reached her, and Nalia turned. The first scent and only voice, she recognized as Taboo. But the other scent was foreign, which immediately put her on alert. She didn't smell any blood, but that didn't mean anything. The Alphess spotted Taboo just as he tripped, and she couldn't help give a snort of laughter. But her eyes found the ivory wolf walking next to him, and the amusement faded from her eyes.
“What do we have here, Taboo? A visitor?” she asked, her voice curious. The wolf didn't move from her spot, just watched the two wolves with curious eyes.

Taboo's nose hurt- and it didn't help that his fall was soon accompanied by two different giggles. Ah, Nalia! The male blushed beneath layers of silky fur. To have two females see him sprawl helplessly upon the floor- now that was something he had not planned and did not wish to go through again. They were nice enough, not booming in their laughter, oh no; so their reserved giggles made a little part of him feel better.
The two scents flooded his senses- sending his brain on the warpath. Both of them were respectable females- both strong with glorious powers; they did something useful with their powers, he still wasn't quite sure how turning into a hopping beast would ever help him. Ears pinned back against his skull as he heard the alphess speak- her words like a warm heat flooding his veins. Taboo slowed his pace, head lowered as he came to a complete stop. "Goddess..."
He approached the higher ranked female, lowering himself to the ground. The brute swayed before her, the very essense of power making him quiver; thus resulting in him dropping to the ground and rolling onto his back- exposing his underside. Submission. A delicate whine slipped between his lips- imperial eyes full of wonder, excitement, fear, lust? He didn't even know what plague him within. A ginger head bump was given to the alphess' paws, leathery nose passing over her soft midnight fur.
"I bring you a most wonderful traveler searching for a home."

Her light blue eyes watched Taboo as he went into submission in front of the female, confirming Luna's suspicions. Nervousness pulsed through Luna's white furred body as she stayed back a few steps as Taboo approached Nalia. She wasn't sure what she should do to show her own submission and respect to the higher ranked female so she finally decided on bowing a bit in front of her, dipping her head to the ground before rising back up though holding her body closer to the ground to remain respectful.
"My name is Luna, ma'am." she spoke softly but loud enough for the alphess to hear her. She wanted to show that she wasn't some weakling that wouldn't be able to offer the already strong pack anything. She took a step closer to Taboo but still kept space between them as she looked up at the two wolves in front of her.
Her ears pricked forwards as Taboo explained who she was and Luna's light blue eyes glanced from her dear friend Taboo and then looked up at the black alphess, wondering what the leader would say. Would she welcome Luna or tell her to leave? She wasn't quite sure but she swallowed hard in anticipation as she waited for the next words to leave someone's mouth. She could also feel a few pairs of eyes on her from the darkness but didn't glance around to try and find their sources as she figured they were probably other pack members, curious to see a new wolf in their home.
